J&K juvenile home breakout: Five detained, hunt on for third escapee
Two Pakistani nationals arrested in Haryana’s Ambala after escaping from Jammu Juvenile Observation home

JAMMU: Five people were detained for questioning Wednesday amid a massive hunt for local gangster Karanjit Singh alias Gugga who fled from a juvenile observation home in Jammu along with two Pakistani inmates, officials said.The Pakistani duo was arrested Tuesday near Ambala railway station by Haryana Police’s STF and handed over to J&K Police.Police have been conducting raids to trace Gugga, believed to have been the mastermind behind the escape, officials said, citing his access to local resources. His mother is also missing from her Jammu residence.The five people detained were in regular contact with Gugga inside the juvenile home, they added.
