DTC bus mows down 2 in Delhi's Nangloi, set on fire by angry locals

NEW DELHI: Two people died after a DTC bus hit an e-rickshaw and then rammed into several other vehicles in Outer Delhi’s Nangloi on Monday. Following the incident, angry local residents set the DTC bus on fire.The incident took place on Monday morning, triggering panic in the area. According to initial reports, the bus first collided with an e-rickshaw and then went on to hit a few other vehicles on the road, leading to chaos at the spot.A video recorded after the incident showed thick flames and smoke billowing out of the DTC bus as it was engulfed in fire. Soon after receiving information, a team from the local police station rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Police also initiated an investigation into the incident.
