Transgender women banned from competing in Olympic games




The International Olympic Committee on Thursday banned transgender women from competing in games, and said only “biological females” will be allowed to participate in women’s events. The IOC is re-introducing testing for gender to determine eligibility to take part in women’s events, which will also rule out many athletes with differences in sexual development (DSD).
