Kasthooriman actor Sidharth Venugopal passes away at 41
The Malayalam television industry mourns the loss of Sidharth Venugopal, or Vinish, who succumbed to a two-year health battle at just 41 years old. Colleagues Seema G Nair and Kishor Satya penned poignant tributes, reflecting on his remarkable journey and the deep connection he formed with his fans, particularly through his iconic role in ‘Kasthooriman.

Malayalam TV actor Sidharth Venugopal, aka Vinish, popular for his role in the show Kasthooriman, has passed away. The actor, who was 41, was undergoing treatments due to health concerns for the last two years.Actress Seema G Nair has penned a note on her social media account, announcing the demise of the actor.“All the hopes have gone in vain. Serial actor Sidharth Venugopal has set his travel to a world without pain. I have done my best for you over the last two years. Even when my mind and body got tired, I tried to hold your life. But God has decided to take you away from all the pain,” reads the translation of Seema’s post. Actor Kishor Satya has also penned an adieu note for the late actor.“Yet another untimely demise. TV actor Sidharth Venugopal is a familiar face for the viewers. Praying for his soul,” Kishor Satya wrote. Sidharth Venugopal became a household name with his entry into ‘Kasthooriman.’ The actor, whose real name is Vinish, has changed his name to Sidharth owing to the popularity of his on-screen character. Although he had left the show midway, he gained widespread appreciation for his character. Lastly, Sidharth was seen playing the lead in Bhagyajathakam.
