Young Pakistan cricketer Hasan Nawaz has drawn strong reactions online after making a controversial remark about Indian bowlers during an off-field interview. The video has gone viral on social media, and the batter is facing criticism for his comments about the Indian cricket team.Hasan said he feels extra motivation while playing against India and wants to attack their bowlers. He also said he dislikes every bowler in the Indian team.In a recent interview with a local news channel, Nawaz said matches against India naturally bring a different mindset.“When playing against India, of course there’s extra motivation. You naturally feel like you want to attack their bowlers. I hate all their bowlers, to be honest. And InshaAllah, if given the chance, we’ll try to do that going forward,” Nawaz said.The right-handed batter made his T20 International debut for Pakistan cricket team in 2025 against New Zealand.Since then, he has played 25 matches and scored 457 runs at an average of 20.77 and a strike rate of 154.39. His record includes two half-centuries and one century.He has faced India national cricket team only once in T20 cricket and scored five runs in that match.His form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 has been better. He has scored at a strike rate of 134.10 and averages 32.33 in 10 matches.Although his last three innings were single-digit scores, he also made two half-centuries during the tournament.However, his season has ended as Quetta Gladiators were knocked out after winning only three of their 10 matches.
