NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has registered an FIR against the CEO of a private company based in south Delhi following allegations of sexual harassment, molestation and intimidation by a former intern.The 20-year-old woman, whose internship was allegedly arranged through her university, alleged that the CEO had repeatedly called her even late at night and made inappropriate remarks about her.“Despite objecting to the calls and attempting to disconnect them, he allegedly continued to prolong the conversations,” police said.He also allegedly touched her without consent on several occasions. The woman said he would often call her to his cabin for minor work-related follow ups and, on one occasion, allegedly kissed her hand.The accused threatened to ruin her career if she disclosed the incidents to anyone, the woman claimed, adding that she continued the internship because she required the completion certificate for her course.The woman accused the company director and HR personnel of harassment and intimidation. According to the complaint, her last working day was supposed to be April 24 but she was told to leave on April 15, and was not provided with internship-related documents.Police have recorded her statement, questioned the CEO and HR personnel, and seized his phone.
