A Telugu-origin IT professional working in US died of a heart attack in Florida, leaving behind his wife and two young children. A community fundraising effort was started to support the family.Sunil Kumar Gundrai worked with Capgemini in Tampa and passed away last week. Sunil tragically lost his life in the late hours of May 7, 2026, to a sudden heart attack, leaving behind a grieving family and two young children whose world has been forever changed.Gundrai was originally from Gadwal in Telangana and came from a modest background where education and hard work were valued. The fundraiser describes how he was inspired by his father, a government school teacher, and worked with determination to build a stable future in US.“Originally from Gadwal, Telangana, Sunil came from a humble background where education and hard work were deeply valued.
