DR Congo score extra-time winner to reach first World Cup in half a century




The Democratic Republic of Congo defeated Jamaica 1-0 after extra time in an intercontinental playoff on Tuesday to seal their first World Cup appearance in 52 years. Former England under-21 international Axel Tuanzebe scored following a corner kick in the 100th minute.
