Senegal stripped of Africa Cup of Nations title, Morocco declared champion by CAF appeal board




Senegal was on Tuesday stripped of its Africa Cup of Nations title and Morocco declared champion, after the CAF appeal board ruled that the Senegalese team had forfeited the final when its players walked off the pitch before the match was over. In its ruling, the appeal board judges handed Morocco a 3-0 win.
