TS Inter results 2026 to be released on April 12 for over 9 lakh students

TSBIE-TS Inter Results 2026: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) will declare the TS Inter Results 2026 for both 1st and 2nd year students on April 12, as confirmed by the board secretary. The announcement will cover more than 9 lakh candidates who appeared for the examinations conducted earlier this year across the state.Candidates can view their result online on the official website by entering their hall ticket number and other necessary login credentials. An online marks memo will act as a provisional score card, whereas the original certificates will be provided by the schools.Number of students appearing for the examsThe number of students who participated in the examination was close to 9.97 lakh students. While 1st year examinations were conducted between February 25 and March 17, the 2nd year examinations were conducted between February 26 and March 18. This high number of candidates shows how important it is for the candidates to have their TS Inter results released. The number of students appearing for 1st year examination was more than 4.41 lakh students. Other websites like results.gov.in and bse.telangana.gov.in will provide links for downloading the result as well owing to high traffic.In order to download the mark sheet, candidates have to log in to the official website, click the corresponding link for either 1st year or 2nd year result and provide their hall ticket number, etc. Their result will appear on the computer screen after which students should save and download the result.Criteria to clear examination and gradingIn order to clear the TS Inter exam, candidates have to score 35 per cent in all subjects including both practicals and theory part. They also have to secure an aggregate of 35 per cent marks to clear their intermediate exams.Grading systemThe grading system includes categories of marks according to which a particular level of performance is identified. Those students who obtain 75 per cent and above will be graded A and those obtaining marks between 60 per cent and 74 per cent will come under Grade B. Marks from 50 per cent to 59 per cent will be classified as Grade C and those with marks between 35 per cent to 49 per cent will get Grade D.Marks memo and result data detailsIn the marks memo issued by TS Inter Board, there will be important information like name of student, hall ticket number, district name, marks of each subject, practicals, total marks, grade and qualifying status of student.In addition to individual result, other important statistical information will be released by the board which would include overall passing percentage, performance in various streams and toppers list.Options for the students after resultsOnce the results have been declared, students who do not have satisfactory marks can opt for revaluation and rechecking of papers. Students are also allowed to get photocopies of their marked answer books.Students who fail in any subjects due to non-fulfillment of the minimum passing criterion can give additional examinations. Provisional marks memo will continue to remain significant in admission procedures till certificates are issued by the schools.
