Gunfire broke out near the main security screening area of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton, triggering panic among attendees. One suspect was taken into custody by the United States Secret Service. An officer was hit but protected by a bullet-resistant vest and is expected to be OK, according to Associated Press sources.
