CHENNAI: The results of the higher secondary public examinations for the academic year 2025-2026, conducted in March 2026, will be released at 9.30 am on Friday.Students can access their results online through the official websites — tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in and Digilocker Results Portal. Candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth to view their marks.School students may collect their results directly from their respective schools. In addition, the marks will be sent through SMS to the mobile numbers submitted by school students through their schools and by private candidates during the online application process.In a first-of-its-kind initiative this year, students can access their examination results through WhatsApp with the assistance of the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency. Students must save the number 7845252525 in their phone contacts and send a “Hi” message on WhatsApp. They will then be guided to select the department and examination category before entering their registration number and date of birth to receive their results through the chat interface.The Directorate of govt Examinations has set up a help desk for students and parents. Candidates with doubts or queries regarding the results may contact the helpline number 14417.Officials noted that supplementary examinations would be conducted shortly for unsuccessful candidates and that schools would provide special coaching to support them.Counselling helplines are available for students and parents at 14417, 104 and 14416. The department appealed to students to receive their examination results with courage and confidence, stressing that marks do not define one’s life, talent or self-worth. Authorities urged students not to lose hope or take any extreme step if their results do not meet expectations.
