He was depicted alongside patriotic imagery, including a waving US flag, the Statue of Liberty and eagles overhead.The post drew swift backlash, with some far-right Christian figures accusing the president of blasphemy, while liberal critics denounced what they described as “egomaniacal behavior.”By Monday morning, the image had been removed from Trump’s Truth Social feed.Trump later explained the reasons behind him posting the image.“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor and it had to do with the Red Cross,” he said, adding that “it’s supposed to me as a doctor, making people better.
